At Plymouth College of Art we believe higher education is a catalyst for personal, professional and cultural transformation, and now more than ever, creative innovation plays a vital role in a globalised society.
At Plymouth College of Art we explore new horizons and push the boundaries of creative practice, encouraging students to think of themselves as professionals from their first day on campus. Each year our annual showcase offers students the opportunity to celebrate the culmination of their hard work whilst propelling them into the creative industries.
This year’s graduates should be especially commended for their tenacious spirit and resilience. Boasting a wealth of experience and accolades, the Class of 2020 can already be found scooping Second Grand Prize at the British Arts Medal Society, receiving commissions for multi-million-pound gallery and museum complex The Box, coming Highly Commended by the Royal Television Society Student Television Awards and featured by The Association of lllustrators as an official ‘one-to-watch’.
Whether being selected for the Freelands Painting Prize, producing content for video-sharing app TikTok, or assisting wardrobe in the prestigious Manchester Royal Exchange — our students graduate with the confidence and technical ability needed to thrive in their specialist area of expertise.

In partnership with the University of Plymouth and Plymouth City Council, the Ignite platform presents the international viewing public, press and potential employers with the opportunity to browse hundreds of graduate profiles and portfolios, highlighting the hotbed of creative talent that is the vibrant city of Plymouth.
