Saturday Arts Club 12-16 years | MEDIA

Course Duration

5 weeks

Plymouth College of Art’s Young Arts programme was established in 1988. Young Arts feature the colleges’ renowned Saturday Arts Clubs and for over 30 years has worked to bridge the gap in arts provision for young people created by increasingly limited access to creative activity in schools.

On this media-based creative course for young people aged 12-16yrs, you will work with our specialist tutor to learn a series of camera and computer-based skills through workshops and short projects.

You will have access to and learn to use our industry-standard equipment and computer packages to create your own pieces of art and documentary photography.

You will be working towards creating work for our Summer Shows and will have a photographic brief to work towards in the last few weeks. You will also have a studio shoot on Saturday 7 May at our HE campus at Tavistock Place.

All sessions will take place in person at Palace Court, our Pre-Degree campus.
