Becky Dodman Wainwright: Tasseography Textiles

<p>Textile designer, part-time Plymouth College of Art <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate/ma-textile-design">MA Textile Design</a> student and <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/ba-hons-textile-design"><strong>BA (Hons) Textile Design</strong></a> lecturer <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/people/rebecca-dodman">Becky Dodman Wainwright</a> presents a collection of textile artworks created with 39 participants in this 3-week solo exhibition at Ocean Studios. </p> <p> Using tufting, embroidery and tapestry weaving to co-create Textile artworks using her tea leaf, Tasseography Textiles generative process, Becky concludes two years of making with this Arts Council England funded exhibition. During the exhibition, Becky will be working in Ocean Studios, both in the cafe and event space, sharing, and discussing her creative processes from idea generation through to textile artworks.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Tasseography Textiles exhibition runs from 24 September to 17 October 2021 at Ocean Studios.
