Student Support

Here at Arts University Plymouth, we have a friendly and supportive team who are here to provide specialist knowledge and support and offer the following services.

<p dir="ltr">A confidential place to talk to professionals about personal or emotional issues. </p> <p>You can book an appointment with our counsellors by completing our Counselling Referral Form. To complete the form, click on the button below.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Impartial support and information on how to look after yourself both mentally and physically.</p> <p>Any of our Student Support team will be happy to talk to you about your health and wellbeing, and you can book an appointment with them by emailing the Student Support team on <a href="mailto:studentsupport@aup.ac.uk">studentsupport@aup.ac.uk</a></p>
<p dir="ltr">We are fully committed to providing equal opportunities to all, and we seek to make reasonable adjustments where needed for students, to ensure your individual learning experience is the best it can be. </p> <p dir="ltr">Specialist Student Support is provided to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHC Plans). This support is supplied via our Specialist Student Support Team and helps students break down their barriers to learning. Our aim is to increase academic independence over two years of study to help prepare you for the next steps in your educational journey.<br /></p> <p dir="ltr">Pre-Degree Learning Support Co-ordinator Vicki Prout (<a href="mailto:vprout@aup.ac.uk"><strong>vprout@aup.ac.uk</strong></a>) who can put in place the appropriate support with your course tutors, whilst ensuring confidentiality in all aspects of your support.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you have concerns in relation to finance, feeling safe, your wellbeing please speak to Carol Edwards and if she is unable to help she can put you in contact with the right people who can.</p> <p dir="ltr">Carol can also help you with Information, advice and guidance (I.A.G), as well as help with careers advice, C.V's and your UCAS forms, if you decide a Degree is right for you. </p> <p dir="ltr">You do not need an appointment for a safeguarding concern.
