Established in 1996, Jeremiah's Journey is a bereavement charity aims to ensure that children, young people, and their parents/carers in Plymouth and the immediate surrounding area have support at a sad and difficult time.

Arts University Plymouth has worked in partnership with Jeremiah’s Journey since 2011, hosting fortnightly sessions at the university that provide a safe space to talk about difficult life experiences. Staff and students donate their time to provide fun and creative activities for the children across many different areas of the university, from making ceramic Christmas decorations to creating stop motion animation. Engagement in arts and creativity is a powerful way to help young people open up, explore their grief and socialise with others in a similar situation to themselves.

Find out more about the work that Jeremiah's Journey do on their website, jeremiahsjourney.org.uk.
