From writing and making the most of your CV to gaining industry experience, the acquisition of professional skills has been written into the programmes of study by our staff teams, who have ‘real world’ experience. They are also supported by our Industry Liaison Groups, who help inform the development of the higher education curriculum.

<p>Professional practice is embedded within all of our programmes. Throughout your studies, you will have the opportunity to develop the key professional, transferable skills for employability in the creative industries and potentially work in partnership with other sectors locally, regionally, nationally or internationally.</p> <p>Our Animation &amp; Games students have gone on to work at leading creative studios such as Creative Assembly, Playstation, Rebellion Studios, and Industrial Light and Magic. Our Graduates

Henry South Senior Texture Artist
After taking his first steps in 3D modelling at Arts University Plymouth, Henry South has gone on to work on some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters in recent history. From Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars to Jurassic Park and Watchmen, Henry has held roles including Senior Artist at Industrial Light and Magic, a motion picture visual effects company founded by George Lucas in the 1970s. Henry also previously worked as a Lead Artist at Framestore, a visual effects company based in London, and as a Lead Artist at MPC. Whilst working as a Senior Artist at Industrial Light & Magic, Henry worked on films including Avengers: End Game. Henry currently works as a CG Supervisor at Jellyfish Pictures, on properties including LEE, the Lee Millar biopic, on which he took the role of Visual Effects Supervisor.
