Young Arts | Holiday Club (October Half Term)

Course Duration

1-3 days

Arts University Plymouth’s Young Arts programme was established in 1988. Young Arts feature the university's renowned Saturday Arts Clubs and for over 30 years has worked to bridge the gap in arts provision for young people created by increasingly limited access to creative activity in schools.

In this one, two or three day holiday club you will make two or more finished artworks to take home each day, with optional activities for fast artists.

The club is themed by the time of year so expect halloween and autumnal themes.

  • 3D paper sculpture

  • Character creation

  • Plastic window decorations


Age range is 9-14yrs, so some activities will have different levels of difficulty to engage all levels of experience. You will be placed into a Primary or Secondary (school) groups so that you can sit at a table or studio area with others your own age. If you are attending with a friend or sibling who is a different age, please let us know.

No previous experience or skill level is required, the emphasis will be on trying a new technique and helping you to create fantastic outcomes.

All materials and equipment are provided.
