MIRROR is renowned for the South West Showcase, a biennial exhibition opportunity that has exhibited artists including Abigail Reynolds, Simon Bayliss, Eleanor Duffin, Huhtamaki Wab, Huma Mulji and many more.
Since 2009, the gallery has played a key role in advocating for and supporting the development of visual arts in the city through working in partnership with other art organisations. Through this work, we have worked with partners (including The Box; The Arts Institute, University of Plymouth; Karst; and Plymouth Arts Centre) to co-deliver six multi-site, multi-partner projects:
The Animal Gaze (2009), The British Art Show 7 (2011), Sinopticon (2012), Walk On (2014), We the People are the Work (2017) and British Arts Show 9 (2022)
