Stephen Green

Technical Demonstrator

In 2002 Stephen decided in a change of career and left BAE systems in Rochester to embark on a new venture in the creative sphere. He went on to gain a Distinction on a Btec in Art and Design course in Rochester and then moved to Bath to complete a Degree in Fine Art Media.

Since graduating in 2007 from Bath Spa University, Stephen has continued as a practicing artist and photographer, as well as teaching and taking part in community events.

Stephen currently works as a Technical Demonstrator for our photography department and supports students across all lens-based media. Stephen also teaches evening and weekend courses in photography.

Stephen has taught evening classes since 2011 as well as practicing his own art and photography. He has experience teaching a range of different age groups and abilities and has taught a number of subjects across art and photographically.

Andrew Brewerton is Professor Emeritus at Arts University Plymouth (AUP), where he served Principal & Chief Executive from 2010 until his retirement in 2021 following a 27–year career in Higher Education. He was made Honorary Professor of Fine Art at Shanghai University in 2000 and appointed as a Distinguished Professor of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in 2017. Andrew was founding Chair of Governors and Director of Trustees of the Plymouth School of Creative Arts at The Red House (2012-19). An English graduate of the University of Cambridge, He is a poet, and writer on contemporary visual art and art education.
