There is no application process for this scholarship and it is not based on household income. Eligibility will be checked by our Admissions team, provided that you meet minimum expectations for attendance when you start your degree and attainment at Pre-Degree level study. The scholarship will be paid automatically to all qualifying students in one instalment of £1000 during the second semester of study, in early March 2021.

Once an application through UCAS has been successful and a student has enrolled they’ll be eligible for the £1000 cash scholarship if they achieved either a Merit or Distinction in their Pre-Degree study with us. Alternatively, students who achieve a Pass in their Pre-Degree study will also need to be awarded a Green Traffic Light for their final Academic and Character progress checks. If this applies to you, please speak directly to your subject leader if you have any questions.

The scholarship will be paid automatically in early March 2021 to eligible students that have met a minimum of 80% attendance. The Internal Progression Cash Scholarship does not have to be repaid and will be available in addition to the BA Final Year Bursary, currently £300 paid in your final year. The BA Final Year Bursary is available to UK students, subject to household income.
