Artists Studio Project - Free artist studios for our alumni

Plymouth College of Art are collaborating with Maker Heights to offer free artist studios to our Alumni.

We know that finding affordable studio space after graduating can sometimes be challenging. As well as costs, artists also consider the environment – opportunities to network with other artists and make professional connections to further your practice.

And that's why we're offering free studio space for up to three alumni artists. Located at Maker Heights, on Cornwall's Rame peninsular, these studios will be available initially for two months with the possibility of one artist remaining for a 12 month period.

Rame School of Art, based at Maker, is a community of internationally renowned artists and this is a unique opportunity to be part of this artist network. In order to apply you will need to submit a proposal as outlined below:

Proposal: Max. one side of A4 explaining why the studio space would benefit your practice and what you intend to achieve over the 2 month period. Please indicate if you would be interested in remaining for a 12 month period.
Images: Submit up to three JPEG images of your work
Deadline: Monday 3rd November
Contact: Please send your proposal to alumni@pca.ac.uk

The studios will be available from November 2014 and are suitable for painting, drawing and fine art.
