Arts University Plymouth and Woxsen University sign MoU to connect design students and researchers across the UK and India

<p dir="ltr">Woxsen University is a multidisciplinary private university in Hyderabad, India, with a 200-acre residential campus and academic strengths across business, design, technology, architecture, law and liberal arts. Its School of Arts &amp; Design is known for interdisciplinary, industry-integrated creative education and international collaboration.</p> <p dir="ltr">The agreement provides a framework for both institutions to explore collaborative online international learning, short-term staff and student mobility, joint research, academic publications, conference participation and collaborative applications for international funding.<br /></p>

<p dir="ltr">Early activity is expected to focus on virtual studio-based projects, connecting students in Plymouth and Hyderabad through shared briefs, digital collaboration and cross-cultural design exchange.</p> <p dir="ltr">The partnership will also support research dialogue in areas of shared interest including design innovation, sustainability, and socially responsive and community-driven design practice. Both institutions will explore opportunities for co-authored publications, joint research proposals and engagement with international funding programmes.</p> <p dir="ltr">Woxsen University’s School of Arts &amp; Design has also invited Arts University Plymouth academics to explore participation in residency activity, which may include lectures, workshops, public talks, research sessions and cultural exchange.<br /></p>

It gives both institutions the opportunity to build meaningful collaboration around design education, sustainability and socially engaged creative practice.”</p>
