BA (Hons) students organising fashion show for Eden Project's People and Gardens project
Fashion students are getting a taste for industry as they respond to a live brief set by the Eden Project.
The group of second years from our BA (Hons) Fashion programme are organising a professional fashion show and showing off their designs at Eden Project’s People and Gardens fundraiser event this Saturday.
Taking place in the Gallery at the Eden Project on Saturday from 7pm, and with tickets costing £10, the event will also feature hair demonstrations and a performance by Cornwall’s Rock Choir.
Second year BA (Hons) Fashion student Lisa Robins said: “The project is another great opportunity for us to learn key skills which will help us get a job in industry when we graduate.
“We’re learning skills in team-work and events management. We’re organising the fashion show, the models, and the walk.”
People and Gardens is a unique therapy and support scheme run by and for people whose lives have been affected by disability.
Email peopleandgardens@hotmail.co.uk or phone 07889 872 709 for tickets.
