We'll pay your travel costs: Claim up to £80 when you visit us

Did you know we may be able to help out with some of your travel expenses when you visit us? Read on to find out how to make your claim.

At Arts University Plymouth, we know that choosing where you’ll study - and which course you’ll do are big decisions - and decisions are easier when you’ve got all the information you need to make your choice.

We’re here to do everything in our power to help you make the most well-informed decision that you can so that you choose a path of study and a university that will help you grow into the very best creative professional you can be - artist, designer-maker, creative director, business owner - whatever your dreams for your creative career, we can help make them a reality.

In times like these, making those decisions can be tougher than ever, as we adapt to different ways of learning, new ways of socialising and meeting people, and huge changes in the usual cycle of selecting which university you’ll study at. For example, you might not have had the chance to go to a UCAS event. You may not have physically attended any Open Days, or even visited the city that you might end up studying in.

Our Jewellery Studio is a large, open space with high ceilings and full length windows to flood the workshop with natural light. Along the windows sits jewellery work stations with tools.

Our Jewellery studio, situated in the Craft building alongside our glass furnaces, welding facilities and clay studios - flooded with natural light and stocked with industry-standard equipment throughout. See the rest of our impressive studios and workshops across the college.

Virtual events and tours are a great way to get a first look at universities, but for many people nothing beats coming to seeing the space for yourself and feeling the atmosphere as you walk around campus.

At Arts University Plymouth, we love to show off our facilities and give you the chance to talk to our students and expert staff in person, whether to ask about a piece of kit or to get some crucial advice on the support available to you throughout your time with us.

That’s why we’re offering you up to £80 to help pay for your travel expenses when you eventually get the chance to visit us in person. These visits can take place before or after your interview, or even as part of your interview. (We’re still offering online interviews for those who can’t travel, or would prefer not to at the moment).

When you visit us, we’ll arrange a bespoke campus tour tailored to your interests, or you can take part in one of our Campus Experience Days designed to give you a taste of what it’s like to study here.

Check out the information below to see how much you can claim to cover the cost of travelling to visit us, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
