<p><strong>WHAT IS THE AYCH INCUBATION PROGRAMME?</strong></p> <p>The programme starts on 13 February 2019, and is aimed at developing emerging creative businesses in Plymouth. It will be split into two phases, the initial three months will be intensive and the remaining six months will be 'lighter touch' to ensure individuals are progressing and able to access support they need.</p> <p>The programme is completely free for the entire 9 months, and is open to everyone aged 16 to 30 years old. There are limited places available, so be sure to attend the launch event or <a href="http://goo.gl/forms/0ZjMUa9HWcnc80oB2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">register your interest</a> as soon as possible.<br /></p> <p><strong>WHAT IS THE AIM AND OUTCOME OF THIS PROGRAMME?</strong></p> <p>The aim of this programme is to provide the fundamental skills required to plan and start a business, and to take a product or service to market.</p> <p>Outcome:</p> <p>* Participants increase their business knowledge and acumen</p> <p>* Participants show an increase in confidence to start a business and/or commercialise a product</p> <p>* Participants reflect on their skills gaps and address these to support their professional practice and development<br /></p> <p><strong>ETHOS OF THE AYCH PROGRAMME</strong></p> <p>Running a business, no matter how big or small, is a challenge. The AYCH Incubation Programme will take individuals out of their comfort zone, have them trying new things and building confidence. Individuals will be challenged each step of the way; making new contacts and future customers, speaking to potential suppliers, pitching ideas and reflecting on their achievements.<br /></p> <p><strong>MOBILITY OPPORTUNITIES</strong></p> <p>Once the participants have completed the first three months of the Incubation Programme, they will be eligible for the International Residencies section of the programme. They will get the chance to benefit from the expertise available in one of our partner AYCH Hubs (UK, France, Spain and Portugal) to significantly develop their project, connect with experts and like minded young people.</p>
