Film students eager to enter industry after talk from Film4 Head of Digital Hilary Perkins
Monday, 30 March, 2015 — Our BA (Hons) Film students were eager to get started in the industry last week after a visiting lecture from Hilary Perkins, Head of Digital at Film4.
<p><strong>Our BA (Hons) Film students were inspired last week by a visiting lecture from Hilary Perkins, Head of Digital at <a href="http://www.film4.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Film4</a>.</strong></p>
<p>“It was an awesome talk, it’s made me want to get into the industry as soon as possible!”, said David Luff, a second year BA (Hons) Film student.<br /></p>
<p>Having previously worked for the BBC and Channel 4, Hilary spoke to our students about progressing ideas, making the most of digital media and the use of multiple platforms.</p>
<p>“It was great hearing Hilary talk about the industry and I gained so much advice from meeting her. I love Film4 and the people they work with like Ben Wheatley, who directed <a href="http://www.film4.com/reviews/2013/a-field-in-england" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">A Field in England</a>, which is amazing!</p>
