“Black Dots is a project I’ve been working on for the past three years. As with any body of work, the endless process of researching, creating, reviewing and repeating pretty much consumed my life,” said Nicholas.

“It's an honour to be invited up, hopefully everyone enjoys the talk and gets an insight into the process behind Black Dots. It comes at a great time, too, with the launch of my photo book later this month and the group exhibition in New York with LensCulture.”

During 2017, he was also awarded the Royal Photographic Society Under 30's Environmental Bursary in association with The Photographic Angle and was a winner in the LensCulture Emerging Talent Awards.

Taking place from 17 - 20 March at the NEC in Birmingham, The Photography Show is returning for its fifth year. It brings the latest technology and innovation from leading and emerging brands together with conference sessions and a complete range of talks and seminars designed to meet the needs of photography enthusiasts and well-seasoned professional photographers.
