"It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of the Ocean Studios community and to remain in Plymouth to develop and broaden my practice in a thriving creative sector. I want to keep the connection with the college and to create links and opportunities for existing students where possible," explains Sue.

Sue invited our third year BA (Hons) Photography students into her studio to visit the space and talk to them about her current design practice. Students also learnt about Sue's earlier work as an Art Director in the fashion industry for well-known publications such as Elle Magazine and Red Magazine.

"Students were interested to find out about delivering projects in editorials from concept through to print. I talked to them about my experience of managing budgets and working with various professionals such as stylists, make-up artists, marketing and PR teams."
