Iris On The Move Plymouth celebrates LGBT+ film

Iris On The Move Plymouth will feature a two-day intensive programme of sessions, lectures and presentations about LGBT+ film on 10 and 11 February 2020.
<p>Iris On The Move Plymouth is an upcoming major joint initiative between Plymouth College of Art, <a href="https://plymouthartscentre.org/whats-on/iris-on-the-move-plymouth/">Plymouth Arts Cinema</a> and <a href="https://www.irisprize.org/">Iris Prize</a>, collaborating with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the college.</p> <p>Featuring a two-day intensive programme of sessions, lectures and presentations about LGBT+ film, <a href="https://www.irisprize.org/plymouth/">Iris On The Move Plymouth</a> takes place on 10 and 11 February 2020.<br /></p>

<p>Open to students, staff and members of the public, the event will include one of only seven UK pre-release previews of the major international feature film and 2019 Iris prize-winner, 'And Then We Danced' on 10 February, at which the director, Levan Akin will be present.<br /></p> <p>Other featured events and screenings include a session with Festival Director Berwyn Rowlands giving tips and advice on how to get your films into festivals, plus a Q&amp;A with Alfie Dale, director of the 2019 Best British Short winning film 'My Brother is a Mermaid'.</p>
