If you or someone you know are looking to study a creative degree in September 2021, we recommend coming along to an upcoming Applicant Advice Session. Mix and match from the topics below to gain a deeper understanding of the journey to undergraduate study.

<p dir="ltr">Short and sweet but packed with useful information on UCAS, portfolios, interviews, accommodation and more — our Applicant Advice Sessions offer you an informal opportunity to ask questions and gain personalised tips on your next steps to Higher Education.</p> <p dir="ltr">All talks are <strong>free to attend </strong>and will take place online, allowing you to pick and mix the sessions that suit your needs and attend multiple events from the comfort of your home. Sessions are <strong>suitable for both enquirers and applicants</strong>, and friends and family are welcome. Our ambassadors will answer any questions you have about course content, facilities, accommodation, industry opportunities, student support, the Students’ Union and more.<br /></p>

<p>Join one of our accommodation providers <strong>Host</strong> for a narrated virtual tour of our recommended student halls and shared houses, including an overview of prices and locations. Our current students will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have about living in Plymouth, meeting new people, and preparing for university.<br /></p>

<p>When applying for an art, design or digital course, applicants are usually required to submit a creative portfolio or showreel of their work. This is a chance to showcase your creative potential and is an important part of your application. Join our recruitment team for practical tips on the kind of things to include in your portfolio and how to present it in a digital format, ensuring it is interview ready.</p> <p>We’ll also be providing some tips on the interview process and how to ensure you are best prepared for a digital interview.<br /></p>

<p>Our knowledgeable student support team will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the student finance process, including applying for student finance, and details on tuition fees, maintenance loans, bursaries and loan repayments. They will also be providing advice and top tips on budgeting whilst studying.<br /></p>
