For 2025 entry, Arts University Plymouth is offering Immersive Media Merit Scholarships worth £2,000 to support talented applicants from Devon or Cornwall.

<p>These scholarships are designed to help creative graduates and practitioners take the next step into postgraduate study, contributing to the growth of the South West’s vibrant <strong>creative technology (CreaTech) community</strong>, where creativity meets technology to shape new ways of experiencing the world.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Our <strong>MA Immersive Media</strong> prepares students to translate their creative knowledge and digital skills into transformative immersive content and public media experiences for diverse audiences in this exciting and rapidly growing sector.</p><ul><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Duration</strong>: 1 year full-time</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Unique partnership</strong>: Study in Britain’s Ocean City with access to <strong>Europe’s first-of-it’s-kind immersive dome at Real Ideas’ Market Hall</strong>.</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Creative outcomes</strong>: Graduates develop work that connects to industries such as games, contemporary art, filmmaking, museums and heritage, tourism, healthcare, and beyond.</p></li></ul> <p>Postgraduate students at Arts University Plymouth benefit from working within a <strong>thriving interdisciplinary ecosystem</strong>, collaborating with artists, designers and technologists to develop ambitious projects for public audiences.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Outside of these scholarships, <strong>Arts University Plymouth graduates are eligible for a 15% alumni discount</strong> on Masters programme fees. This discount applies if you studied on one of our pre-degree, foundation or undergraduate programmes.</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>“Bring your skills and your intentions with you. <ul><li><p dir="ltr">Applicants are normally expected to have an undergraduate degree at 2:2 or above. <ul><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Eligibility</strong>: Applicants must be based in Devon or Cornwall and applying for their <strong>first Masters degree</strong>.</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Course</strong>: Scholarships apply only to full-time study on <strong>MA Immersive Media</strong> starting in the academic year 2025–26.</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Value</strong>: Each scholarship is worth <strong>£2,000</strong>, applied as a <strong>reduction in tuition fees</strong>. This is not a cash award.<br /><strong>Progression bursary</strong>: The scholarship cannot be combined with the undergraduate progression discount (15%).</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Assessment</strong>: Applicants must meet the standard postgraduate entry requirements, including prior qualifications and portfolio review.</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Number of scholarships</strong>: Up to <strong>two scholarships are available</strong> in 2025–26.</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Payment</strong>: Fee reduction is applied following <strong>successful completion of the first trimester</strong>.</p></li><li><p dir="ltr"><strong>Deadline</strong>: Applications must be submitted by <strong>5pm on Friday 19 September 2025</strong>.</p></li></ul>
