Plymouth College of Art shortlisted for the Edurank Awards 2018
Thursday, 8 February, 2018 — Celebrating the innovative use of social media amongst academic institutions, judged by the leading media benchmarking software dedicated to the education sector Edurank.
<h5>Plymouth College of Art has been recognised by <a href="https://edurank.net/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Edurank</a> for our recent <strong>#KeepCreating</strong> social media campaign, which focuses on encouraging creativity, diversity and engagement with the arts industry.</h5>
<p>Shortlisted for the <strong>Best Social Media Campaign Award</strong>, this category celebrates the innovative use of social media profiles such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter by academic institutions.</p>
<p>The recruitment campaign, created in collaboration with branding and digital agency TEMPLO, is aimed at 17 and 18-year-olds and is a true reflection of the college’s personality; outspoken, challenging and visionary. A series of animated gifs, images and interactive videos have been shared across the college's social media profiles since September 2017, and the college has since seen a significant rise in the number of programme and open day applications from prospective students.</p>
<p>Winners of the 2018 Edurank Awards will be announced in the coming weeks.</p>
