Plymouth – One of the Cheapest UK Cities 2022
Cost of living is set to be one of the most talked-about issues in the UK this year and should be a key factor when choosing what and where to study. StudentCrowd say that the new league table is based on the most comprehensive dataset on student accommodation available in the country.

In 2022 Plymouth retained its Purple Flag (first awarded in 2020), rating Plymouth as one of the safest cities in the UK to enjoy a night out in a pub or club. Overall, Devon and Cornwall remain one of the safest areas in the UK according to crime statistics, with one study ranking Plymouth as the safest major city in England and Wales and another citing the city as one of the four safest cities in the UK for international students.
