Summer 2026 opening times

<p>From <strong>Monday 29 June 2026</strong>, <strong>Tavistock Place</strong> will be open Monday to Friday, <strong>7:45am to 6pm</strong>.</p> <p><strong>44 Regent Street</strong> and <strong>Studio 11</strong> will close at <strong>6pm</strong> each weekday during the summer period.</p> <p>The university will be closed on Saturdays from <strong>Saturday 27 June 2026</strong>, except for <strong>Saturday 25 July 2026</strong>, when the university will open for the MA Summer Show and Open Day.</p> <p>All university sites will close early at <strong>12:30pm on Friday 3 July 2026</strong>.</p> <p>Normal term-time opening hours for Tavistock Place, 44 Regent Street and Studio 11 are expected to resume in the week beginning <strong>Monday 21 September 2026</strong>.<br /></p>

<p><strong>Palace Court</strong> and <strong>Palace Studios</strong> are closed to students after <strong>Friday 19 June 2026</strong>.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Summer campus opening does not mean general access to studios, workshops or specialist spaces.</p> <p dir="ltr">From <strong>Monday 29 June to Friday 31 July 2026</strong>, studios, workshops and base rooms across the <strong>Tavistock Place campus</strong> will be accessible only where access has been booked in advance and confirmed by the relevant staff team.</p> <p dir="ltr">Some technical areas may be available during this period by advance booking only, depending on staffing, maintenance and the space requested. Technical space bookings must be submitted through <strong>SmartHub</strong> and reviewed by technical staff before confirmation.</p> <p dir="ltr">Please do not travel to campus to use a studio, workshop, base room, technical area or specialist space unless your access has been confirmed in advance.</p> <p dir="ltr">From the week beginning <strong>Monday 3 August 2026</strong>, Tavistock Place Technical Studios will be closed for annual maintenance and essential works.</p> <p dir="ltr">Different summer opening hours and closure arrangements apply within the <strong>Postgraduate Centre</strong> to accommodate part-time Year 1 postgraduate students.</p> <p dir="ltr">Students with approved Extenuating Circumstances, part-time Y(year 1) postgraduate students or students needing access for agreed summer work should contact the relevant staff team as early as possible.</p> <p dir="ltr">For studio, workshop and technical access information, please check <strong>SmartHub</strong>, the <strong>Technical Lab Pages</strong> or contact the relevant staff team before travelling to campus.</p>

<p>The Equipment Resource Centre will be open to HE students until <strong>Friday 26 June 2026</strong>.</p> <p>Appointment-only access will be available from <strong>Monday 6 July to Friday 14 August 2026</strong> for postgraduate students and students with approved Extenuating Circumstances.</p> <p>The Equipment Resource Centre will close for stocktake from <strong>Monday 17 August to Friday 28 August 2026</strong>.</p> <p>All equipment should be returned by <strong>Friday 14 August 2026</strong>.</p> <p>For Equipment Resource Centre queries, contact <strong><a>erc@aup.ac.uk</a></strong>.</p>

<p>The Postgraduate Graduate Shows will run from <strong>Monday 20 to Thursday 30 July 2026</strong> at <strong>MIRROR</strong> and <strong>Studio 11</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Private View:</strong> Thursday 23 July 2026, 6pm to 8pm<br /><strong>Open Day:</strong> Saturday 25 July 2026, 10am to 1pm</p> <p>The university will be open on <strong>Saturday 25 July 2026</strong> for the MA Summer Show and Open Day.</p>

<p>Student Support remains available throughout the summer, both in person and online.</p> <p>From <strong>Monday 6 July 2026 to Tuesday 1 September 2026</strong>, the Student Support office will be open from <strong>9am to 4pm</strong>.</p> <p>If you need support, please complete the <strong>Student Support self-referral form</strong> so the team can book you in with the relevant team member.</p> <p>Some teams may be based in different spaces while essential works take place.
