Incubation Programme
Programme start date: 5 February 2020
Deadline to apply: 4 February 2020
Eligibility: This programme is free and open to anyone aged 16-30 years old
What is the AYCH Incubation Programme?
The AYCH Incubation Programme is a free nine-month support period that provides enterprise, creative and digital workshops, and mentoring with various experts, equipment and facilities to turn your idea into a reality.
The AYCH Incubation Programme will take you out of your comfort zone, have you trying new things and building confidence. You’ll be challenged each step of the way; making new contacts and meeting future customers, speaking to potential suppliers, pitching ideas and reflecting on your achievements. This is a great chance to network with like-minded people, learn business skills and develop your own business plan.
Participants who have started the Incubation Programme will also become eligible for the International Residencies (scroll down for further information.)
International Creative Jam "City and Nature"
Programme start date: 24-26 March 2020, Portugal
Deadline to apply: 9 February 2020
Eligibility: This programme is free and open to anyone aged 16-30 years old
What is the International Creative Jam?
The Creative Jam is a two or three-day intensive ideas event that allows you to learn new skills, develop exciting and innovative ideas, design products or services, and present your ideas to a panel of experts.
The theme for this year’s Creative Jam is ‘Nature and City’. How can we build a stronger relationship with nature and how can it transform cities and rural areas for the better?
Experts will be on hand throughout the event to help you understand and interpret the theme and shape your creative idea for the future.
International Residencies
Programme start date: 1 week from January - December 2020
Deadline to apply: December 2020
Eligibility: This programme is free and open to anyone aged 18-30 years old
What is an International Residency?
The AYCH residencies provide an immersive experience as part of the AYCH Education Plan. You will get the chance to benefit from the expertise available in the AYCH Hub to significantly develop your project, connect with experts and like-minded young people, as well as discover a new city in the Atlantic Area (UK, France, Spain, Portugal).
You will be given a programme of activities including workshops and individual sessions, delivered by the host partner, to help develop your projects during the five days of your stay. In addition, the hosting partner will organise leisure activities, city tours and dinner with AYCH ambassadors, while making sure you also get free time to yourself.
The AYCH International Residencies are free and open to any student, alumni or young person aged 18-30 years old. The project will cover travel, accommodation, lunches, and expertise-related costs. The selected participants will need to be independent and responsible as you will not have supervision when travelling.
The number of places available on these programmes is limited. To find out more, get in touch with Eli via email: ezahoui@pca.ac.uk. This programme of activity is brought to you by the Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs project, part-funded by ERDF, through the Interreg Atlantic Area programme.
