<p dir="ltr">Now in its 12th year, Love Summer Festival is a family friendly festival with three stages featuring cutting edge music. With a big top featuring a diverse line-up of live acts playing everything from jungle and electro swing to ska, funk and soul with loads in between, there’s glamping and great food. Plymouth Pride returns on 5 August

<p dir="ltr">Plymouth Pride is organised by a group of volunteers from across the city with a shared goal of delivering the greatest Pride event Plymouth has seen. Not only will Plymouth Pride become a centrepiece of the city’s event calendar, but also one of the top Pride events in the UK. This family friendly event will have plenty of opportunities for young people, parents and children to learn about the LGBTQIA+ culture and history through entertainment, traders and members of the community. <p dir="ltr">Animangapop is back in Plymouth for the summer and is one of the UK’s best anime, manga and pop culture events, featuring an action-packed non-stop day full of convention goodness! <p dir="ltr">Are you an LGBTQ+ identified writer who would like to meet other LGBTQ+ writers and write in the community? Join us on a Sunday morning to keep your writing practice regular. After introductions at the beginning, the rest of the time is for writing - whether you want to chat during or at the end is up to you! <p dir="ltr">Royal William Yard’s popular Good Food &amp; Craft Market will be taking place inside the iconic Melville building and surrounding area outside. <p dir="ltr">Featuring over 800 cars of all shapes and sizes, the Mount Edgcumbe Classic &amp; American Car Show is the biggest annual event held at the beautiful country park. Bringing you some of the best UK tribute acts over three days, the festival boasts a huge 4,500 capacity Big Top, with an extended site with family attractions and food and drink. Get Rad Festival returns this August to The Junction & The Underground

<p dir="ltr">The British Firework Championships are a must-see event, showcasing the incredible talent and artistry of six top pyrotechnic companies. <p dir="ltr">In the scenic surrounds of Firestone Bay, relax with local musical talent with a drink in your hand as the sun goes down for the return of the popular summer Yard Session series. Everything Everywhere All At Once will be shown at Tinside Lido this August

<p dir="ltr">Tunes in the Park is a fun-packed weekend of entertainment, activities and live music for all the family. Taking place on the August Bank Holiday weekend, Tune in the Park takes place on the picturesque grounds of the Port Eliot Estate, the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable weekend packed with love and laughter. Featuring headliners Kaiser Chiefs and The Kooks, along with household names such as Sam Ryder and Craig Charles’ Funk &amp; Soul Show, there’s also wellbeing sessions, on site camping, amazing food and drink as well as workshops and activities for the whole family.</p> <p dir="ltr"><a href="">25 to 27 August @ Port Eliot Estate</a></p>
<p dir="ltr">The West End Carnival returns to the streets around Plymouth Market, offering a jam packed day of free family activities. The carnival will have an amazing programme of free entertainment to enjoy both on stage and roaming the streets. The MA 2023 Summer Shows start on 31 August and run until 7 September

<p dir="ltr">At our 2023 MA Summer Show, postgraduate students from Arts University Plymouth will showcase a variety of exciting and dynamic research projects undertaken within our specialist postgraduate community of practice, working across specialisms that include painting, drawing, sculptural installation, moving image, design and ceramics. Work will be displayed in MIRROR gallery at Arts University Plymouth’s Tavistock Place campus and at our Studio 11 Building, on Regent Street (just a two minute walk from our main campus).</p> <p dir="ltr"><a href="">31 August to 7 September - 10am to 5pm @ Arts University Plymouth</a><br /></p>
