Course Leader
<p dir="ltr">Will is the subject leader for the Extended Diploma in Filmmaking and Media Production at Arts University Plymouth. He is a Producer and Writer. He studied Filmmaking and Media and Cultural Studies at UWE Bristol.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Will has industry broadcast experience at the BBC and TwoFour Productions before deciding to move into teaching in 2014. He has many years experience in secondary Film and Media teaching before moving into Further Education in 2020.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Recently, Will has been working as producer alongside fellow FE lecturer Harry Faint on the short film King Henry. Seeking to explore LGBTQIA+ relationships and the impact of Section 28, the film is scheduled for release in 2024.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Will has personally trained and mentored trainee lecturers over the past years and since 2018 and also works as an external moderator for the University of the Arts London. He also writes and cohosts/produces a podcast with Plymouth based Football Culture group Jogo Bonito, exploring the social, cultural and ethical issues surrounding the beautiful game.<br /></p>
