Introduction to Textile Screen Printing

<p dir="ltr">By the end of the course you will have made a collection of textiles samples showcasing a range of screen printing techniques. You will explore an array of different outcomes using stencils, blank screens and pre-exposed screens to print onto fabric.<br /></p> <p dir="ltr">The course will cover:</p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Creating designs for screen printing with stencils,</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Screen printing with pre exposed designs and stencils,</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Colour mixing and printing using basic and opaque binders,</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Mono printing through blank screens with binders,</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Flock and foil application,</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Printing using metallic, pearl, and puff techniques and materials</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Opportunity to experiment and combine all the techniques you have learnt.</p></li></ul> <p dir="ltr">Inspiration and themes will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.<br /></p>
