CertHE Business & Management for Creatives

This one-year course is designed for students who want to combine business knowledge with creative thinking, developing the skills needed to succeed in today’s fast changing world of work.

With a focus on employability and enterprise, you will build skills in business thinking, creative problem solving and collaborative team working, while developing your understanding of social and ethical responsibility. In a world where technology and artificial intelligence are reshaping business practice, this blend of academic study and applied learning ensures you graduate ready to progress into employment, self-employed business or further study.

<p>The course draws on the skills identified by the Future Skills League Table as the most essential for the future, including problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, digital literacy, adaptability, resilience, creativity, teamwork and initiative.</p>

<p>Students will gain a strong grounding in the principles of business and management, while applying this knowledge through live projects with local and national businesses, benefitting from citywide partnerships with cultural and enterprise organisations.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Our curriculum is continually informed by industry engagement and wider global developments in business education, including digital transformation, sustainability, entrepreneurship and internationalisation.</p> <p dir="ltr">You will have access to sector insights and employability resources through our institutional membership of Creative UK, as well as expert talks and workshops delivered by industry professionals including Micronomy, Digital Remit, Maverick and PB Media.<br /></p>
