Chris Sutherland completed a BA (Hons) in Photography at Plymouth College of Art in 2014. Whist studying at College, Chris explored food and drink and also product and commercial Photography. His photographs were taken using a Hasselblad H3D, alongside large format and DSLRs. These cameras produce crystal clear and high quality images which enabled him to build up a great portfolio in preparation for London commercial employment.
Chris has always been drawn to commercial photography and has a particular skill for capturing food and drink for advertisements. At College Chris developed technical skills in editing and postproduction which he uses regularly now to ensure his work is completed to the highest possible standard.
After finiahing his degree, Chris has been taken on by Trayler & Trayler in London. Trayler & Trayler are a creative agency which serve all areas of digital and print media. Initially Chris was working there as an intern.
"When I first moved to London I got an internship role working for the creative agency Traytler & Trayler. Initially I was based in the office working on file management, colour correction, organisation, social media and their website. This was based in Soho which is where a lot of creative and media related agencies are based.”
Recently Chris has been assisting on shoots for Patrice De Villiers (food/ still life) and Guy Farrow (fashion/ sport). Whilst on shoots Chris will helps with shoot prepping, sourcing materials for shoots and also maintenance. worked on Morrison’s ‘Up your street’ underground campaign which supports their launch of home deliveries in London.

I also am always looking to collaborate with individuals, marketing, media institutions and agencies who posses true passion for top quality commercial campaigns.”
Away from the creative agency Chris is also landing Photography work as a Freelancer for Lipton/ Godiva and Royal Marines. In the short time since graduating Chris has managed to gain a lot of experience in the creative industries and aims to continue progressing his Photography career and building up his portfolio through work in and around London.
