Ella Doherty

Ella Doherty graduated from Plymouth College of Art in 2016 with a BA(hons) in Illustration. Since graduating last year she has worked as a freelance Illustrator, working on commissions from logos and screen printed homeware to large indoor murals. She has also worked as an in-house designer for Candlelight products in Sheffield, designing homeware and wall art for a variety of high street stores such as New Look and Primark.
"I loved my time at PCA, experimenting in as many areas of illustration as I could, such as Print Design within fashion, Branding, Poster Design and Set Design. Pushing myself to learn new skills and try new things has helped to evolve my design, I'm always looking for new ways for illustration to be exciting and fun!

I feel extremely lucky to be able to do what I love every day, in the future I'd really love to explore set design and art direction more. I have a lot of ideas in my head and I''d love to see them come to life!"
