Arts University Plymouth celebrates 2025 30 Under 30 winners
Friday, 11 April, 2025 — Three rising stars from Arts University Plymouth - Kiki Fraikue, Megan Trapnell and Maciej Krzyminski - were honoured in Devon & Plymouth Chamber’s 30 Under 30.
<p>Three inspiring changemakers from the Arts University Plymouth community have been named in Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 <a href="https://devonchamber.co.uk/30-under-30/">30 Under 30 awards</a>, recognising young professionals making a positive impact across the South West.</p>
<p>Among the winners are a current student, a graduate entrepreneur, and a socially-engaged creative leader, all making waves in their fields.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/ba-hons-fashion-design">BA (Hons) Fashion Design</a> student Kiki Fraikue is the creative force behind <a href="https://www.instagram.com/erasure.clothing/">Erasure Clothing</a>, an independent streetwear brand rooted in identity, subculture, and self-expression. Launched when she was only 18 years old, while still on our Pre-Degree Extended Diploma in Fashion & Textiles, Erasure Clothing has since been featured three times in GQ Magazine’s Lookbook, spotlighted by BBC Devon, and showcased at major fashion events across the South West.</p>
<p>Alongside her studies, Kiki serves as Design Director at Our Era Magazine, leading projects for major clients including Arsenal Football Club and Wall Street Mafia. Her fearless blend of fashion, art direction and cultural commentary positions her as a powerful voice in British fashion’s new generation.</p>
<p>Fashion graduate Megan Trapnell founded <a href="https://www.instagram.com/dartandgrey/">Dart & Grey</a> to champion the circular economy, transforming surplus yacht manufacturing materials into high-end garments and accessories. Through <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/alumni/workroom-grow">Arts University Plymouth’s Workroom</a>, Megan secured a groundbreaking collaboration with Princess Yachts, debuting a capsule collection aboard their flagship S80 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024.</p>
<p>Her work has gained international media coverage, with features in BBC News, Asia-Pacific Boating and The Cool Down, and has drawn attention to Plymouth’s potential as a hub for sustainable, cross-sector innovation. Megan now leads Dart & Grey’s expansion, working with current students from BA (Hons) Fashion Media & Marketing to launch the brand’s first commercial collection.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/ba-hons-photography">BA (Hons) Photography</a> graduate Maciej Krzyminski is co-founder of <a href="https://www.openkamera.org/">OPEN KAMERA CIC</a>, a community interest company that uses analogue photography as a tool for connection, confidence and care. Since launching in 2024, the organisation has delivered over 20 workshops across Devon and Cornwall, partnering with schools, libraries, and grassroots groups to bring creative expression to underserved communities.</p>
<p>Maciej also works with the Devon, Plymouth & Torbay Careers Hub, where he designed the ‘Experiences of the Workplace’ programme, connecting students with local employers through interactive, hands-on learning. His dual focus on community care and career empowerment exemplifies how creativity can drive both personal and systemic change.</p>
<p>These three winners showcase the breadth and impact of Arts University Plymouth’s community, each using creativity as a force for sustainable futures, inclusive representation, and social good. Their achievements reflect our mission to foster independent thinkers and makers who redefine what’s possible in their industries.</p>
