How to Apply

<p dir="ltr">From Undergraduate <strong><a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/study/undergraduate" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BA (Hons)</a> </strong>and <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/level-0-extended-degrees" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Extended Degrees</strong></a> to Postgraduate <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/study/postgraduate" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>MA and MFA</strong></a> courses, we offer something for everyone looking to further their creative practice at HE level.</p> <p dir="ltr">If you’re over 18 years and looking to study a BA (Hons) degree full-time, you can apply to one of our <strong><a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate">undergraduate courses</a></strong> through UCAS. If you are applying to study part-time, applications can be made through the relevant course page on this website.<br /></p>

<p><strong>The January deadline for applications for September 2025 is 6pm on Wednesday 29 January 2025</strong>. We advise applicants to not wait until this date to submit your application if it is already complete. <br /></p> <p>If you are applying for study in September 2024, places are still available, and you can still make an application through UCAS.</p> <p>From 5 July to 21 October 2024, you can apply to begin your studies in September 2024 using Clearing, if you’re not already holding an offer from a university or college, and the course still has places.</p> <p>You can use Clearing if:</p><ul><li>you’re applying after 30 June</li><li>you didn’t receive any offers (or none you wanted to accept)</li><li>you didn’t meet the conditions of your offers</li><li>you’ve declined your firm place using the ‘decline my place’ button in your UCAS application</li></ul>

<p dir="ltr">Remember, you can only apply to UCAS once in a cycle so if you've applied in a previous cycle and would like to apply again, first you'll need to submit a new application. We recognise the value of a variety of qualifications and relevant experience and welcome applications from students who have followed less traditional routes. <p dir="ltr">Your application will tell us about your qualifications and previous experience, but we know there’s more to our creative applicants than the information captured on a form. To get to know your creative potential, abilities and interests, we will invite you to send a portfolio of your work.<br /></p>

<p dir="ltr">If you would like to see what goes on inside our state-of-the-art studios and workshops or you would benefit from an informal talk about your future, an online or in-person campus visit is a great place to start your research.</p> <p dir="ltr">Come along to one of our <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/open-days"><strong>Open Days</strong></a> and gain personalised advice from our student finance team, meet with expert academics and current students, and try out our<strong> <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/resources">specialist facilities</a></strong>.
