National Saturday Club | 14-16yrs | Art & Design 2026/27

Art University Plymouth’s Young Arts programme was established in 1988. Young Arts also offers local participants the chance to join one of the National Saturday Clubs, and be part of a UK-wide initiative with over 70 clubs taking place across the country. National Saturday Clubs provide members with an array of transferable skills that are greatly sought after by employers in the UK’s thriving creative sector and beyond.

<p dir="ltr">Arts University Plymouth are offering free places on the prestigious National Saturday Club. We are looking for dedicated, creative young people aged 14-16 years who aspire to be the artists and designers of the future. We are especially looking for people who are interested in future creative studies or careers in the Creative Industries.</p> <p dir="ltr">On the <strong>National Art &amp; Design Saturday Club</strong> you will study a range of art, craft, design and media disciplines via weekly skills workshops, and finish the club with a longer final project creating artwork ready for exhibition in the Summer Show.</p> <p dir="ltr">You will also have the opportunity to gain an Arts Award Bronze qualification (optional), and to become part of this exciting national initiative known as <a href="https://saturday-club.org/national-saturday-club/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>The Saturday Club Trust</strong></a> which extends to over 70 clubs around the UK.<br /></p> <p dir="ltr">Sessions will be in our studios at Palace Court or Tavistock Place with a few sessions on location.</p> <p>Arts University Plymouth, Palace Court, Pre-Degree and 6th Form Centre<br />Buckwell Street<br />Plymouth<br />PL1 2DA<br /><br />Arts University Plymouth <br />Tavistock Place,<br />PL4 8AT</p> <p><strong>Dates, details and booking for this club for 26/27 will be available in September for a November start</strong></p>
