Beth Evans

<p>Beth Evans was our Student Union President, as well as Student Governor from 2023 to 2025. They studied BA (Hons) Fine Art, graduating in 2023 with a First Class Honours.<br /><br />Their role as SU President involved running Student Voice meetings, supporting student-led clubs and societies, as well as ensuring student feedback goes through to the right places and people.<br /><br />Beth is an experimental creator who makes conceptual works grounded in exploring art as an educational tool as well as a storytelling device, calling them 'sculptural metaphors'. Beth also creates sarcastic yet sincere drawings, usually with sharpies and ink and similar to the style of David Shrigley, as well as writing and publishing poetry.</p> <p>Writing under the moniker Blaike Gillshaw, Beth has published three books, all of which are available to buy on Amazon.</p>
