Head of Finance
<p>Tasha Deacon is an experienced and results-driven finance professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in higher education. As Head of Finance at Arts University Plymouth, she holds a strategic leadership position within the Vice-Chancellor’s Management Group, where she is responsible for financial planning, resource allocation, and institutional financial governance.</p>
<p>A CIMA Chartered Management Accountant and AAT-qualified, Tasha has strong expertise in management accounting, financial systems (including Agresso and Xledger), and team leadership. She has led significant improvements in financial reporting, budgeting processes, and system integration, delivering efficient, customer-focused, and cost-effective outcomes.</p>
<p>Tasha brings a pragmatic and collaborative approach to financial leadership, combining strategic insight with attention to operational detail to support business planning and enhance decision-making across the organisation.</p>
