Dan Baker

<p>Born and raised in Plymouth, Dan spent 20 years working in theatre and live events following studies at University of Winchester and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Whilst in this field he worked for a number of theatres across the UK, as well as producing work nationally and internationally - travelling professionally to places including the US, Canada, Croatia and the Netherlands whilst managing projects and developing partnerships. As well as producing, he has a background in talent development and outreach - supporting artists in the early stages of their careers.<br /><br />Having previously worked for Next Steps South West in student recruitment and outreach, Dan joined the Admissions team at Arts University Plymouth in 2024. He is now Senior International Officer - his role focused on supporting the journey of international students from application through to graduation, and looking to develop new partnerships and networks to support the wider Recruitment and Admissions team.</p>
