Our People
Mark Greaves
Mark is a Corporate Finance partner at Francis Clark, where he is also responsible for developing their international network PKF and leading an internal change programme. His international duties have included arranging trade visits to China and building close links with Australian, European and American firms. Mark is also a non-executive director at Delt Shared Services, an IT business jointly owned by Plymouth City Council and New Devon CCG. Finally, Mark is also the treasurer at Plymouth Arts Centre.
Mark has advised on many high profile deals such as the Management Buy-Out of Sutton Seeds and Plessey Semi-Conductors. He also led the sale of Goonvean’s clay operations to Imerys SA. He has a particular interest in media and consumer branded businesses, having helped South West media group, Bray Leino, on numerous deals and advised on the sale of the skincare brand business Dr Organic to Holland & Barrett.
Unusually for the 1980s, Mark entered the accountancy profession without a degree, only later studying for an MBA from Warwick University. He therefore is a keen advocate for lifelong learning and equality in education.
Mark is a keen traveller and has been to many places around the world from South Africa to Norway and Japan to Alaska. He also managed to walk across Beirut in the relatively short period of peace the city enjoyed in 2005.
