Rebecca Brown

<p><strong>Rebecca Brown</strong> graduated from <a>BA (Hons) Photography</a> in 2014. Since leaving Arts University Plymouth (then known as Plymouth College of Art), she has relocated to Bristol, where she works with The Creative Youth Network, a charity dedicated to empowering young people through the arts.</p> <p>As a photography tutor, Rebecca shares her expertise with young people aged 12 to 19, delivering workshops in both darkroom and digital photography. The Creative Youth Network offers an inspiring range of creative opportunities—from DJing and animation to sculpture, film, and live music—helping young people discover their potential through hands-on learning and expression.</p> <p>Rebecca’s work has already gained national recognition. One of her proudest achievements to date was being selected as a finalist for the Royal Photographic Society’s International Photography Prize, with her image chosen from over 7,000 entries to be part of a touring exhibition across the UK.</p> <p>She credits her time at Arts University Plymouth with giving her the confidence and encouragement to build a career in creative education. Now focused on developing a freelance tutoring practice, Rebecca continues to expand her network and collaborate with new organisations, supporting young people through community-based arts education.</p> <p>Alongside her teaching, Rebecca is actively engaged in personal projects, including wedding photography and socially engaged creative work within local communities.<br /></p>
