Rob Stroud
Member of the Audit Committee
<p>Rob Stroud is Director of Assessment Services and Access to Higher Education at QAA. </p>
<p>He is responsible for QAA’s services for individual providers in England, the regulation of the Access to Higher Education Diploma, and implementing QAA’s contract for quality assurance services for the Nursing and Midwifery Council. He originally joined QAA in 2022 and led the Designated Quality Body function until QAA gave up that role in 2023. </p>
<p>Previously, he held senior roles at the Office for Students, and the Higher Education Funding Council for England. He has experience in student protection, the regulation of independent providers, teaching funding policy, the design and operation of student number controls, and a background in student experience policy and practice from earlier roles.</p>
