<p>This presentation discusses the broad and varied impact of Shaping Thinking: a research project which began development in 2019. The objective of Shaping Thinking is to empower individuals and organisations in any field to employ the kinds of creative problem solving which have historically (and unintentionally) been siloed within creative education. The project began in response to a perceived need for visual problem solving skills for academics engaged with STEM research; as a way of effectively communicating complex ideas. Over time the potential of this project has evolved beyond academia, collaborating with other researchers, graduates and organisations to build towards something which could benefit any organisation aiming to solve a creative problem. This conference presentation acts as an externally-facing consolidation of the project.</p>
