MA Show 2024 031

The MA Graduate Show, 2024

<p dir="ltr">This is an indicative timetable for Postgraduate study at Arts University Plymouth, intended to give applicants an idea of the way in which learning and taught delivery is structured.</p> <p dir="ltr">Monday and Wednesday are the taught delivery days for our Postgraduate students, with Monday mornings reserved for delivery of core sessions, and Wednesday afternoons reserved for subject related sessions, leaving Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings free for students to book Technical Enrichment sessions, and self-directed access to workshops and studios. We’re also going to stream and record our Monday core sessions throughout the academic year, offering hybrid and flexible options that will make the sessions more easy to access for part-time students and people with accessibility needs.</p> <p dir="ltr">Full-time students should expect to attend taught sessions on both Mondays (10am - 1pm) and Wednesdays (2pm - 5pm), and also commit to a further two days of self directed learning each week.<br /></p> <p dir="ltr">Part-time students should expect to attend sessions on a Wednesday (2pm - 5pm), as well as committing to further self-directed study throughout the week. Because Monday’s core sessions are recorded, part-time students can catch up at a time that is convenient for them, but are also welcome to attend Monday lectures in person if they are able. At the time of publishing (July 2024), part-time applicants should note that the Monday lectures will repeat in their second year.<br /><br />Please note, this timetable is <strong>indicative only</strong> and may be subject to change. <br /><br /></p><table dir="ltr"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Time</strong></td><td><strong>Mon</strong></td><td><strong>Tues</strong></td><td><strong>Wed</strong></td><td><strong>Thurs</strong></td><td><strong>Fri</strong></td></tr><tr><td><strong>10.00am - 1.00pm</strong></td><td>Core Lectures</td><td>Directed Study</td><td>Self-directed working in Workshops and Studios</td><td>Directed Study</td><td>Directed Study</td></tr><tr><td><strong>1.00pm - 2.00pm</strong></td><td>LUNCH</td><td>LUNCH</td><td>LUNCH</td><td>LUNCH</td><td>LUNCH</td></tr><tr><td><strong>2.00pm - 5.00pm</strong></td><td>Directed Study</td><td>Directed Study</td><td>Unit Tutorials, Subject Tutorials, Seminars, or Research Intensives</td><td>Directed Study</td><td>Directed Study</td></tr></tbody></table> <p><br /></p>
