<p>Artificialia is a practice-led research project investigating the visual and conceptual language of mineral collections and their historical modes of display. Through sculptural and printed works, the project reinterprets and recontextualises artefacts to question how authenticity, replication, and heritage are negotiated within contemporary creative practice. Drawing on traditions of museum display and the aesthetics of classification, Artificialia engages with the politics of collection, preservation, and interpretation. By employing diverse materials such as ceramics, cardboard, and plywood, the research explores how historical narratives may be adapted for present-day audiences. Situated at the intersection of contemporary art, museology, and material culture, it reflects on the shifting values ascribed to artefacts in an age of digital mediation.</p>
